Howth Castle is available for film hire and corporate or private events can be booked in the Cookery School.
The Castle has hosted many interesting characters over the years from Queen Victoria for afternoon tea to Bing Crosby who stayed significantly longer as his wife copied the design of Lutyens sunken garden for their home in Los Angeles.
More recently Kate Beckinsale graced the corridors in period costume for Love & Friendship and Christopher Plummer wearing a very fetching nightcap in the State Bedroom for The Man Who Invented Christmas.
For your personal celebrations Howth Castle Cookery School can offer a very intimate feel with a fabulous dining experience afterwards in the Butler's Room. For larger corporate groups we can facilitate dining in the upstairs Dining Room and with a stunning open fire and entertainment. As it has until recently been the private home of the Gaisford St-Lawrence family.
