In response to an approach from the International Protection Accommodation Services, part of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Tetrarch Capital has agreed to refurbish the former Deer Park Hotel on the grounds of Howth Estate and to provide temporary accommodation there for people fleeing the war in Ukraine.
With the first of the residents expected to arrive at the property from June 2022, we are urgently seeking to recruit and build a high-quality team to work with us.
Job Summary
As Receptionist you will contribute to the first impressions of our residents and, therefore, must perform your tasks to the highest standard by providing engaging, sincere, personalised service. As a key point of contact for residents, you will respond to all messages, enquiries and emergencies using your knowledge of the accommodation, facilities, services, and the local vicinity in an efficient and effective manner.
- Check-in and check-out residents using the Property Management System
- To handle all enquiries; in person, by phone or email, ensuring the customer receives a prompt, friendly, professional and efficient response that accurately meets their needs.
- Informs residents about any particular conditions, rules or formalities during the stay, and about the services offered by the accommodation
- Attends appropriate training courses, when required
- Carries out administrative procedures and checklist duties effectively and efficiently
- Passes information on as necessary to other departments (Golf, Cookery School etc.), licensees and to other members of the team
- Ensures that all the documents, products and provisions needed for the department and/or residents are available and up-to-date
- To pro-actively seek feedback, taking action on comments raised
- To handle complaints promptly and professionally, demonstrating genuine care and concern under the supervision of the Duty Manager
- To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the department, including its fixtures, fittings and equipment
- To demonstrate a high standard of personal appearance, always wearing the full and correct uniform and ensuring good personal hygiene
- To ensure all legal and statutory regulations and responsibilities are met in order to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and our customers
- To carry out any ad-hoc or supplementary duties as deemed necessary by management The above is a list of duties which provides a clear representation of the key requirements for a member of the team however it is not exhaustive.
Skills
- A passionate Receptionist with strong teamwork and communication skills that can deliver a welcoming, helpful and communicative experience for residents
- Experience as a Receptionist in a hotel environment and a strong understanding of Property Management Systems is preferable
- Competent skills in phone systems, computer skills and IT systems particularly Microsoft Office
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work in team
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent communication and written skills (English and ideally Ukrainian)
