Irish Georgian Society Day trip to Howth Castle, Friday 6th June.
Following on from our lecture 'A period of Change for Howth Castle' earlier this year, join us for a day trip to Howth Castle for a special tour by historian-in-residence Daniel Eglington-Carey.
Discover the rich history of Howth Castle with Daniel Eglington-Carey, a history graduate from Maynooth University and the current Historian in Residence and Caretaker of the castle.
The Cookery School team will be providing some refreshments on arriving and later, a wonderful lunch prepared by their team of chefs.
Note: The building is accessible by stairs only and the tour includes steps throughout.
For residents of the southside of Dublin, the price includes transport in a coach at 10:00 am from the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge alternatively there is plenty of parking in the grounds of Howth Castle.
The ticket includes welcome refreshments on arrival, a Tour of the Castle and grounds followed by a delicious lunch and beverages.
