Please note that the castle is only open for public viewing during arranged tour times. Public tours are available at select times of the year and can be booked on this website. Private tours can be arranged any time by contacting info@howthcastle.ie or +353 86 0470171. The gardens of the castle are only accessible on a guided tour.
If you can't join one of our guided tours, you are welcome to explore the estate between dawn and dusk. There is plenty to see, the rhododendron walks, Aideen's Grave and a walk to the summit of Muck Rock. Find out more about the estate on our 'About' page.
