More activities have been programmed as part of the Food Fare at the Castle during summer 2021.
Each Friday and Sunday at 3pm the Guides from Hidden Howth Experiences will be leading a Guided Walk through the Howth Castle Estate. This will meander through the woodlands visiting Aideen's Grave the cromlech or dolmen which dates from between 2500BC and 2000BC, legend has it that it could also be a quoit thrown by Fionn MacCumhaill.
The Guided Walk will also take visitors up to the top of Muck Rock for the panoramic views of Dublin Bay and islands, before returning to the walled garden and the Food Fare.
